Identify and discuss the phases of Disaster Response Psychology and how to limit their impact on potential victims Define and identify the typical and atypical active shooter events Explain each of the civilian response protocols as they relate to an active shooter event Review active shooter policies used in schools and the workplace Identify the importance of learning from past active shooter events to assist in preparing for future events Discuss landmark Active Shooter Events and lessons learned by law enforcement Identify common traits of 160 domestic active shooter events and lessons that can be applied to citizen response during an actual event The proper response of the Responsibly Armed Citizen during and active shooter event Communicating with School Administrators about specific situations that can arise in an ASE Special Considerations for those employed by a Medical Facility Identify the importance of medical training and the use of simple medical adjuncts to save lives |
